Sonja Wekema

Sonja is an executive coach, facilitator, author and TEDx speaker working at the intersection of leadership, organizational development and systemic transformation. Founder of The Other Perspective and co-author of Leading in a Wicked World, she supports leaders and teams in navigating complexity, dialogue and change.

With over 25 years of international experience at organizations including Shell and Capgemini, Sonja brings together strategy, human connection and systems awareness. Alongside her work, she is pursuing PhD research on vulnerability in leadership.

As a committee member of the IODA 2027 Conference, she contributes to communication, organization and connecting different bubbles — inviting unusual suspects into the conversation to help create sparks between perspectives, disciplines and worlds.
